Golden Fluid Artist colors have a thinner consistency than Heavy Body acrylics. This difference gives those who prefer to work thinly artist quality colors without reducing the brilliance or stability. The consistency of fluid paints makes them optimal for mixing with low viscosity Golden gels and mediums since less vigorous mixing is necessary.

Fluid acrylics can be used straight out of the jar in a similar fashion to watercolors, and sealed with fade resistance varnish. Fluid acrylics can also be used with Golden Airbrush medium or the Golden Airbrush Transparent Extender to allow them to become even less viscous and flow easily through an airbrush. This adds a wide range of colors to any airbrush artist’s palette.
