Step 1: Look under your seat for the model tag
Most manufacturers put a tag on the underside of the seat that identifies the model, date of manufacture, and other pertinent information. You’ll need to jot down the following info:
- Model number (for example, Aeron chairs have a model number like this:AE113 AWC AJ G1 BB BK 3D01
- Date of manufacture
- Factory or FO number—6 digits
With this information, we can determine if the chair is under warranty, though we are also happy to do non-warranty work. If the chair’s not under warranty, we can determine repair cost after an inspection of the chair.
